WELCOME

TO THE AMERICAN STRIPER ASSOCIATION, the nations "Premier Striper Tournament Series".  In 2010 the ASA will be conducting 6 tournaments in our series covering the Northeast United States. Striper enthusiasts can choose to fish a local tournament or compete for the prestigious Angler of the Year Award presented to the ASA Boat Captain that exhibits the skills needed to earn the bragging rights as the Nations Best Striped Bass Fisherman. This award is based on competition in multiple tournaments on the ASA/Mercury Tournament Trail. The ASA will also award a Top Jr. and Female Angler at the end of the 2010 season.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

AMAZING GRACE, WITH A 74.15 TOTAL is the Top ASA Angler after the Virginia Beach Rockfish Shootout held January 7th, 8th & 9th. Captain Jamie Judy and crew/wife, Ashby Judy brought in a 40.55 pounder and a 33.60 for a total of 74.15 Points.. Full Press Release to follow

FIVE LIVE RELEASE Striper's were donated to The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk CT. during the Virginia Beach National Tournament. This donation helps support a Live Conservation Exibit. These fish, plus the others we have previously donated will be on Exibit starting in February 2010.
